Why
PlaZma
Radio?
- Because, while there are a number of 80s radio
stations out there, some of them (*ahem* club977
*ahem*) who used to say they'd never have an ad
in their stream have started to do so.
- Because
DJ PlaZma loves 80s music and wants to share
that love with the world.
- Because
DJ PlaZma is a professional DJ who knows how
to do more than just play music. Programming music is as much of
an art as it is a science.
- Because NO OTHER 80s Internet Radio Station plays not
only the big stuff, but also the little stuff, the obscure stuff, and
the really, REALLY obscure stuff.
- Because there is a gap in Internet Radio for artists
such as C.C.C.P, the Nails, Alison Moyet, Total Coelo, Hayzee Fantayzee,
other groups that just don't get played any more.
- Because
DJ PlaZma
owns every song he plays and has digitized them on his own to his very
exacting standards, ensuring consistent sound quality.
- Because some other 80s Internet Radio Stations are
programmed by amateur, "this would be fun" people who, while
well-meaning, end up sounding just like the rest of the kids with a
Casio cassette player.
- Because
DJ PlaZma knows how to talk into a microphone
and address and audience...not like some "DJs" who view the microphone
as something that is either to be fellated or approached like their
first date - Not Too Close!
- Because
DJ PlaZma has a s-t-u-d-i-o where he produces
his program. This studio consists of high-quality equipment names like
Behringer, BST, and MXL.
- Because
DJ PlaZma knows what it's like to listen to
radio that sucks.
- Because
DJ PlaZma
is not Todd*.
